We are delighted to announce the availability of Unbound Medicine uCentral for Mafraq Hospital Medical Staff.

You can now access the following titles from within the SEHA e-Library portal by logging in using your personal account and following the steps described under the uCentral section on the Resources page.

Once you setup your uCentral account, you will also be able to download the same titles on your smart phone or tablet (IOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows OS are all supported)

ARCHIVE: UpToDate database training by specialized trainers from USA on 21st and 22nd Feb 2012 - COMPLETED

UpToDate database training workshops are organized for all SEHA staff to learn the best way to use UpToDate.  One of the trainer is a doctor from USA who will conduct UpToDate product demo using a clinical case study. This training will impact the usage of UpToDate and provide an ideal forum for physicians to see all areas of UpToDate that they already have access but may not know about it. 

Following are the details of the venues for the UpToDate Training Workshops on 21st and 22nd February 2012.  Feel free to walk-in and attend the training.  No pre-registration is required:

1. SKMC Hospital - 21st February 2012 from 11.00 to 13.00 hrs – BSP (Behavioral Sc Pavillion i.e. old Psychaitry) Auditorium, east  of SKMC Outpatient Specialist Clinics, SKMC, Abu Dhabi – capacity 120 people.                      

2. Tawam Hospital - 21st February 2012 from 15.30 to 16.30 hrs – Venue: Lecture Hall # 1, Polyclinic, 2nd Fl, Tawam Hospital, Al-Ain – capacity 100 people.

3. Mafraq Hospital - 22nd February 2012 from 8.00 am to 9.30 am – Venue: Main Conf Hall, 1st Fl, Main Hospital Bldg, Mafraq Hospital, AUH - capacity 60 people.

4. Rahba Hospital, - 22nd February 2012 from 12.00 noon to 1.00pm – Venue: Lecture Hall, Admin Bldg., 1st fl, Rahba Hospital, Abu Dhabi – capacity 65 people.
